The Lost Girls 2022 Movie Review

The Lost Girls is an upcoming film written and directed by Livia De Paolis. The movie is based on the 2003 Peter Pan-inspired novel of the same name by Laurie Fox. Inspired by the classic tale of Peter Pan, The Lost Girls chronicles four generations of Darling women as they struggle in the aftermath of their adventures with Peter Pan in Neverland.

Like her grandmother and her mother Jane before her, Wendy must escape Pan’s hold on her and the promise he desperately wants her to keep. As her daughter Berry comes into Peter’s orbit, Wendy must fight to save her relationship with her daughter while reconciling her legacy.

J. M. Barrie’s Peter Pan has been remade and reinterpreted so many times that you’d believe a boy could fly before you’d ever accept they could find a new way to tell the classic story.

Well, think again, because director Livia De Paolis has adapted The Lost Girls, a novel by Laurie Fox, and it’s safe to say that this is an interesting take on the boy who never grew up. Starring Vanessa Redgrave (Mission: Impossible), Iain Glen (Game of Thrones) and Joely Richardson (The Patriot), you can check out the trailer here along with the official poster and synopsis…
