After a church group wanders into the wrong part of the forest, the characters find themselves being hunted by a massive prehistoric spider that can detect vibrations. This creates an effective premise where even running, shouting, or making a careless movement can become deadly.
The film’s biggest strength is its contained survival concept. Instead of relying entirely on jump scares, Don’t Move has the potential to create suspense from the characters simply trying to remain still while the creature searches for them. That setup gives the movie a classic creature-feature atmosphere while adding a modern survival-thriller element.
Lyndsy Fonseca leads the cast as Megan Forrester, who must keep the remaining members of the group together and find a way out of the wilderness.
