Berlin Review 2023 Tv Show Series Cast Crew Online
Money Heist (La Casa De Papel) has become a worldwide phenomenon, even though it wasn’t a huge hit in the US like it was in other countries such as Brazil and Spain. As a Brazilian myself, I can say that this show was a total success, and basically everyone I know has watched it and loved it. And now, they have decided to develop a Berlin spin-off series. I initially thought it was weird because Berlin was a character that died in the 2nd season, and there wasn’t really anything interesting to tell about his character. But I was wrong.
Berlin focuses on an earlier period in Berlin’s life, which is touched upon in flashbacks in the later seasons of Money Heist. According to the show, Berlin believes that there are only two things that can turn a bad day into a great one: love and a million-dollar payday. This is what keeps him razor-focused on his lofty goals.
There’s a lot to love about this show, and there’s barely anything that didn’t work. Berlin is a magnificent and well-crafted spin-off that successfully recaptures the essence of the original show while adding something unique. Although the show features another “big heist” plan, Berlin takes on the role of the leader, which was previously played by the Professor in Money Heist. I was initially concerned that this show would fail to bring an engaging team of criminals and feel repetitive, but I was pleasantly surprised! The team in Berlin is entirely different from the one in Money Heist, and each character is incredibly well-developed and unique. They will undoubtedly have their fans when the show releases.
I loved the contrast between this spin-off and the original series. Unlike the original, this show is not confined to a single location and packed with flashbacks. Instead, the show itself is a flashback, and we get to see the characters’ personal lives as well as the process of making the heist. It’s a refreshing take on the series that sets it apart from what you’re used to.
The photography in the show is absolutely amazing, and it really showcases the improvement in quality compared to the first season of the original show. The cast is incredibly well-developed and entertaining. Pedro Alonso gives an outstanding performance as Berlin, bringing a deeper and more captivating portrayal of the character. The relationship between Julio Peña and Begoña Vargas is also something to admire and enjoy. This show is definitely a must-watch, especially if you enjoyed the original.
Berlin is an intriguing and captivating spin-off that boasts a talented cast, thrilling moments, and action-packed scenes that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s a worthy show that successfully recaptures the essence and spirit of its predecessor.
