WondLa Season 3 Review 2025 Tv Show Series Cast Crew Online
When we settle in to enjoy the farewell season of a television show, we have a checklist in mind that we hope the show takes care of to bring us a proper finale. Such as the fact that we want every single plot thread to be properly handled and resolved, so that there is nothing left on the table for us to think about. Not to mention, we want every character arc to come to a logical and satisfying conclusion that fits the story, so that we feel good about where the characters end up. But above all, we want that final season to wow us through and through. Courtesy of an epic story that takes our breath away with high stakes and big moments that all aid in bringing together the other items on our checklist.
Granted, we don’t always get that, because endings are hard. But if a show makes an effort to accomplish those things, we tend to be happy. But what’s fascinating about that checklist is the sheer fact that it omits a lot of what we really love about modern television. In that, we don’t really worry about the show having commentary or deeper themes in its final season. We just want the end to serve the story above all else and give us that conclusion that will keep us buzzing and happy, and most creatives abide by that and do their best to deliver. Which is why the upcoming third and final season of WondLa on Apple TV is such a surprise. Because it arrives on the network this Wednesday, and what it accomplishes along the way defies our standard expectations.
But before we get into that, we need to make it clear that this is a final season that meets our high expectations, checklist-wise. For season three sees Eva and her friends work to create balance and harmony as Orbana slides into chaos and panic over the many conflicts that aliens and humanity have been involved in, and in going that route, the show gives us what we want. Because every single plot thread introduced over the past three years is brought to a proper and satisfying close, where you don’t feel any sense of neglect. Not to mention, every single character comes to their logical conclusion here, growth-wise, and that’s satisfying and of course… the action and adventure is at an all-time high and features some incredible visuals that rival some of the best blockbusters out there, and yes, those elements alone make this worth your while.
But this series does have more to offer than a story that brings everything together in a manner that satisfies. For this is a season loaded with commentary and observation and thoughts regarding the troubles of living in a divided world. Which should come as no surprise since this series has been steeped in commentary on family and environmentalism from the start. But here, Orbana is divided, and everyone has a want and a need that they feel matters over anyone else’s, and that’s eerie. Because that’s our world to a tee right now, and that does allow for this show to explore what’s divided our world in 2025 and how perhaps we finally fix it, since there is a sense that all of us are tired of the division and the rhetoric. That leads to a story that gives one pause, and even offers glimmers of hope regarding our struggles.
How it accomplishes the latter, we won’t spoil here. Because you need to see it and experience it firsthand. But we will say that adds incredible depth to this final season, and meaning that one never expected to find, and it also doesn’t hurt that such elements come together via incredible voiceover work. In fact, this stellar cast, at times, makes us believe we are watching a live-action movie with the emotion and depth that comes through in their performances, and well, all of these elements bring together a perfect final season. For this one has it all, and it stays with you long after it’s ende,d thanks to its thoughtful messages about the human condition, and the best news of all is that you only have to wait a few more days to enjoy the finale. Because WondLa returns to Apple TV one last time on November 26th, and we cannot wait for you to experience the wonder of this outright masterpiece of a season.
