This is an story that is written as the feelings of the grief for the sudden death of Karla’s husband Stephan. When she was in grief of her loving husband then she realises that she has an amzing ability and the ability was to write. She realises that she can write heartfelt stories.
The all six episodes of the series are amazingly written and completely follows the Karla and her family who are trying to grieve after the death of her husband. He was very close to her and each episode shows the new eulogies that Karla has written about the new family . This is also a learning moment with her. We have seen the great friendship in this series and there are also some stories about her daughter Julie, Her mother Mina and Andi also. There is also romance in her beautiful life but then a sudden death and there grief comes in her life and this show is mostly a lesson in grief.
Surely it’s not all funny but that does not mean it is not – it is funny sometimes. And those funny moments are for a short time and not the comedy is so deep. All the show is mostly about sudden incidents and shocking news that leads to living their loved ones in sadness and growing alone. And in this show Karla is the character who finds this all situation most difficult.
I have really enjoyed the story of this series ” The Last Word “. It’s really good sometimes fun and perfectly made at the right moments, and gives you that added layer of fun in an otherwise gloomy scenario. The cinematography is pretty good, but nothing out of this world.
