Aftershock: Everest and the Nepal Earthquake Review 2022 Tv Show Series Cast Crew Online
This netflix series Aftershock: Everest and the earthquake in Nepal explore how a devastating earthquake in 2015 killed thousands. Along the way, we learn heartbreaking stories from residents, rescuers and tourists, all of whom tragically participated in this traumatic disaster. First, with a first-hand account and actual footage of the earthquake, the docuseries does a great job of spooking viewers with its storytelling. The foreground is horrible to watch. And you can only imagine the fear that went through those who experienced it.
Rather than being a feature length documentary, Aftershock: Everest and the earthquake in Nepal instead offers us three episodes. One odd feature, however, is how the first episode is 38 minutes long, while the other two are almost an hour long. It would have been nice if the episodes had all been roughly the same length. Instead of shuffling all the stories together, each episode focuses on a particular area. There are interviews with a number of people throughout the docuseries. And they include experts and mountaineers.
Above all, it’s not the nicest of watches. Mainly because it is so difficult to witness the horror people experienced during and after the earthquake. It puts a lot of things into perspective and makes you grateful you never had to go through such an upsetting event. As the docuseries is comprised of three episodes, every second is not as gripping as other real docuseries. Well, I think, therefore, it could have been done with just two hour-long episodes that mixed the stories together. Nevertheless, Aftershock: Everest and the earthquake in Nepal is a fascinating watch, and basically, it’s worth investing nearly 3 hours of your time into this show.
